Jeremy Goldberg, Esq., LL.M., is a skilled tax attorney based in Miami, Florida, who joined Hargrove Firm in May 2024 and is now part of JH Law Group. Before joining Hargrove, he served as a Tax Associate at Dorot & Bensimon PL in Aventura, Florida, and Troutman Pepper in New York, and honed his expertise as an M&A Tax Associate at PwC.
Jeremy holds an LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law and a J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law, where he served as President of the Tax Law Society. He completed his undergraduate studies in Business Administration and Accounting at the College of Charleston.
Licensed to practice in Illinois, New York, and Florida, Jeremy has significant experience advising clients on federal and international income tax, as well as estate and gift tax matters. Specifically, this includes advising high-net-worth private clients (both U.S. and foreign) on tax, trusts, and estates. This also includes advising clients on various outbound and inbound transactions, mergers, acquisitions, reorganizations, dispositions, capital markets, restructurings, and pre-immigration and expatriation planning.

Jamie Hargrove is the Founder of JH Law Group, building on a distinguished career as an attorney and Certified Public Accountant with nearly four decades of experience in estate, tax, and business planning. Previously, Jamie founded and developed Hargrove Firm into one of the nation’s premier estate planning law firms, recognized for its innovative use of technology and client-focused solutions.
A pioneer in legal tech, Jamie introduced First Step Planning in 2012, earning the James I. Keane Award from the American Bar Association for excellence in online delivery of legal services. This innovation laid the foundation for NetLaw, a breakthrough platform that automates estate planning and continues to power online services nationwide.
In October 2025, Jamie led a strategic private investment transaction for Hargrove Firm, positioning the organization for accelerated growth and expanded capabilities in advanced planning and technology integration.

Nicole Hur is an Advanced Planning Attorney at JH Law Group, previously Hargrove Firm, bringing a wealth of experience in estate planning and trust and estate administration. Prior to joining Hargrove Firm, she practiced as an estate planning attorney with both national and international firms and has also worked in the trust administration and planning teams of prominent national banks. In these roles, Nicole advised high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients with complex planning needs. Her cross-disciplinary expertise spans tax, business, and estate planning, allowing her to craft comprehensive solutions tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.
Nicole holds an LL.M. in Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center and a Juris Doctor from Seattle University School of Law. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Washington (inactive) and is licensed to practice law in Washington, Kentucky, and New York.
Nicole resides in Seattle, Washington, but spends time in Louisville as needed. An avid traveler and antique collector, she enjoys discovering hidden treasures and exploring new places. When in Louisville, she also dedicates her time to renovating and restoring her 100-year-old Victorian home.
Emily Moore brings a distinguished blend of legal expertise, strategic insight, and relationship-driven leadership to the JH Group. With a professional background spanning litigation, estate planning, and nonprofit engagement, she offers a depth of experience that uniquely positions her to support families and business owners with clarity and care. Emily earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Louisville and her Juris Doctor from Salmon P. Chase College of Law. Her early career included serving as a judicial law clerk, drafting legal opinions for both federal and state court judges, before establishing a respected practice focused on Estate Planning and Small Business Planning.
As Hargrove Firm’s Director of Client Engagement & Experience, Emily focuses on building strong, lasting connections with clients from the very first interaction. She strives to improve communication, foster trust, and create a positive and reassuring experience for every family. Her leadership ensures that clients feel valued, understood, and supported throughout every stage of their planning journey.
Her commitment to serving others extends far beyond her professional work. Emily is deeply rooted in her local church and community, actively involved with several nonprofits across the Louisville and Oldham County areas. She and her husband, Matthew Moore—who serves as a Deacon at Southeast Christian Church—lead discipleship groups and recently founded a nonprofit ministry dedicated to guiding people into deeper intimacy with Jesus through worship.
Emily has served on the Boards and Committees of Youth for Christ, BSideU4Life, the Oldham County Community Foundation, and was a founding Board member of Clay & Oak. She has also been a Big Sister with Big Brothers Big Sisters and a mentor to high school students through her church.
Emily and Matthew live in LaGrange with their three sons, Harry, Charlie, and Samuel, where they remain devoted to faith, family, and building a legacy of service.

Barry Norfleet brings over 35 years of combined experience in law, finance, and executive leadership to JH Law Group. He began his career with Arthur Andersen, then the largest of the Big Eight accounting firms, where he spent a decade in the Tax, Trust, and M&A divisions. Barry later transitioned into senior leadership roles in financial services, including serving as Senior Vice President and Senior Trust Officer at WesBanco, where he managed complex investment and estate strategies for individuals, businesses, and employee benefit plans across Kentucky and Indiana.
Barry joined Hargrove Firm in March 2025 as Of Counsel and now serves as a full-time Partner in the Sale of Business and Advanced Planning practice. His expertise spans estate planning, succession planning, tax strategy, and business transition planning, making him a trusted advisor for clients navigating significant financial and generational decisions.

Barry’s approach combines technical proficiency with a client-first mindset, ensuring tailored solutions that protect wealth and optimize outcomes for families and businesses.

Daniel is the leader of the charitable/tax-exempt practice at JH Law Group. His practice includes high net worth estate planning, charitable giving strategies, and tax-exempt organization law. He has decades of experience working with a wide variety of large tax-exempt organizations, from the largest to the smallest. Daniel also has administered charitable trusts and endowment funds for institutional banking clients.
Daniel is an attorney, MBA, and CPA (Arizona inactive). He is licensed to practice law in Arizona. He began his professional career at Ernst & Young and subsequently worked in top Arizona law firms, in addition to practicing on his own for many years.
Daniel has founded and led nonprofits, including ArtWins Arizona, which has propelled Arizona artists onto the international stage, and co-founded the ASU Alumni Law Group, a first-of-its-kind teaching law firm. He also served as Senior Planned Giving Consultant for the Episcopal Church Foundation, where he helped churches and dioceses design sustainable giving and endowment programs, and as Interim Executive Director he led a 2-year turnaround of Chapel Rock (Prescott, AZ) into one of the premier Episcopal camp and conference centers in the US. His other church leadership includes 9 years on the board of directors of the Episcopal Diocese of Arizona, 9 years on the finance committee of the Diocese, and elected 3 times to represent the people of the Diocese at the triennial Episcopal Church General Convention.
Daniel is a native of Grand Rapids, MI, and is still deeply connected with their local arts community. He is heavily involved with ArtPrize, the world’s largest international art competition, which takes place every Fall in Grand Rapids. Daniel established the ArtPrize “pitch night” program, which is a series of statewide art competitions taking place every year in cities across the country.
In his free time, Daniel enjoys hiking in the Arizona mountains, gaming, and lifting weights in the gym five times a week.

Crystal Patterson brings more than 25 years of legal experience to her role at JH Law Group, where she focuses on estate planning and complex business law matters. She also plays a key role in supporting the firm’s Multi-Family Office (MFO), advising ultra-high-net-worth families on governance, trust structures, and generational wealth strategies.
Crystal began her career in corporate and fiduciary law, serving as General Counsel for Gulfstream Commercial Services, where she earned national recognition through leadership appointments with the American Bar Association’s Real Property, Trust and Estate Section, including Chair of the Trust and Estates Litigation, Ethics and Malpractice Group and Co-Chair of the Special Committee on In-House Counsel.

She has served as President of the Association of Corporate Counsel – Kentucky Chapter and continues to be a trusted resource for families navigating complex wealth and succession planning

With over a decade of litigation experience, Kelly has developed a comprehensive understanding of the value preventive measures bring to legal matters—a perspective reflected in Benjamin Franklin’s maxim, “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.” Motivated by her commitment to effective planning and client advocacy, Kelly transitioned into Estate Planning, establishing her solo practice in 2021 to guide clients through the creation and execution of their estate strategies.
In July 2022, Kelly joined Hargrove Firm, now JH Law Group, where her practice focuses on advising high-net-worth individuals on tax, business, and estate considerations, with particular expertise relating to business sales.
A Louisville, Kentucky native, Kelly earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Louisville in 1998. She later obtained her Juris Doctor, Magna Cum Laude, from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law in 2007.
Kelly is licensed to practice law in Kentucky and is an active member of the Kentucky Bar Association. She is admitted to practice before Kentucky’s highest courts, the United States District Courts for both the Western and Eastern Districts of Kentucky, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
Her professional involvement includes service on the Board of the Alumni Association for the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law and two completed three-year terms with the Louis D. Brandeis American Inn of Courts. She is also engaged in the community as a member of Southeast Christian Church, where she volunteers as a Connections Ministry Team Lead and participates in Women’s Ministry initiatives. Kelly currently serves as a Board of Director for a local charity, Hosea’s House.
Outside of her professional responsibilities, Kelly enjoys spending time with her husband, Mike, and their children, Claudia and Maxwell. Her personal interests include bible study, reading, running, outdoor activities, and travel.

Lorri L. Rothert, J.D., an attorney with JH Law Group, previously Hargrove Firm, received a J.D. summa cum laude from Southern Illinois University School of Law in 1999. Lorri has served as an associate attorney at Frost Brown Todd LLC in Lexington, Kentucky, and Lewis, Rice & Fingersh, L.C. in St. Louis, Missouri, focusing on business succession, tax, and estate planning. Her career has also spanned roles such as Professional Associate in Economic Affairs at the U.S. Embassy in Ankara, Turkey, where she contributed to international economic policy and diplomacy, private business owner, non-profit organization volunteer and director, and a solo legal practice in Jackson, Missouri, specializing in estate planning, elder law, and charitable gift planning. She is a member of the Missouri and Illinois Bars.
Lorri has spent the last several years living abroad in support of her husband’s Foreign Service career. Currently, Lorri is based in Jackson, Missouri, where she and her husband are enjoying their adult children and growing family, and their farmland and horses.
